My Life Story

On August 18, 2007 I was injured during a High School football practice. I suffered a C-5 cervical spinal cord injury leaving me a quadriplegic at the age of 15.

In the past 3 years, I have had many trials and tribulations .... My family continues to pay for medical expenses and rehabilitation through money rasied from fundraisers...

Over the past 4 years I have worked my hardest to make my life easier and become more independent. With the money raised by fundraisers my family and friends put on, I have been lucky enough to purchase a modified hand cycle and a new wheelchair. I am currently training for a half marathon that will take place on June 3, 2012 in the San Diego area. I am really excited to show everyone how far I have come since my injury. I am still studying computer science at Cerritos College and hope to transfer to a university within the next year. Your continuous support and love is helping me to strive toward my ultimate goals. Please check back for more information regarding fundraisers to come. We are looking to hold a Casino night in April or May of this year as well as our Blake Browning Annual Golf Tournament!
